Where there are people, there will be difference
Most people call it conflict.
At We Restore Calm, we don’t.

What you are really seeing is different thinking in the same space

If that’s not how you’ve been taught to see it, you’re not alone

When it is handled well, that is where smarter decisions are made, stronger relationships are built, trust grows and people & performance excel

Conflict shows up every day... whether you recognise it or not

Most people are never taught how to handle difference;

Not at school. Not at work. Not in relationships.

So when it shows up, we rely on instinct:

Some avoid it.

Some push harder.

Some try to keep the peace.

Some do not see it as an issue at all.

It simply becomes how things are.

How that person is.
How the team works.

In workplaces, it often gets put down to “that person being the problem,” or just something people learn to work around.

In everyday life, it can feel like tension, distance or something not quite working.

This is not about difficult people.

It is about not being shown what to do next.

Leaders carry it

HR manage it

Individuals live and breathe it

Underneath all of that, the same thing is happening.

There is no clear, shared way of handling difference

That is when things start to feel stuck, strained, frustrating or quietly exhausting.

Over time, that affects wellbeing, relationships, confidence, communication, decision making, performance and ultimately, results

TRUST Insights

Work With It

Practical training, from workshops to accredited programmes, that shows you what to do in real situations.

At We Restore Calm, we work with individuals, teams and organisations where workplace conflict, communication issues or something that is not quite working has become part of the norm

How We Work is Different

We look beneath the surface to understand what is really driving what is happening, including the roles of mental health, neurodiversity, and the reality that people think differently.

We do not rush to fix or smooth things over. We slow things down just enough to see what is actually going on.

We bring to the open what is often left unsaid or not yet well enough understood to create lasting change, and we create the conditions for honest, clear conversations without things escalating.

We challenge where it is needed, support where it matters, and keep everything grounded in what will genuinely move the situation forward.

From there, we make clear what needs to happen next so relationships strengthen, communication improves, and progress is sustained.

The focus is not just on resolving what is happening now, but on transforming how difference is understood and worked with, so it becomes a driver of clearer thinking, stronger relationships and meaningful progress well beyond our intervention.

I reached out to Marie when we were experiencing challenges with a specific employee who was superb at their role, however struggled to interact with the team causing upset and potential resignations. There was a sense that neurodiversity maybe a contributing factor and wanting to support the employee and the team as a whole. With Marie expertise and specialism in this specific field we signed up to 4 coaching sessions for the employee with Marie. We have since seen a positive change in the employee and the team as a whole. We have been provided with a better understanding of how we can support the employee and some suggestive reasonable adjustments that means harmony has now been restored and kept our valued employees. Money well spent. Highly recommend Marie's services

I have worked with Marie over many years and as a mediator she excels. Truly dedicated to making mediation a success, Marie's results speak for themselves. She also has great knowledge and strength in understanding mental health in the workplace and the link to mediation. Continually looking to develop her knowledge in these areas of managing and resolving conflict, she has in my opinion become a subject matter expert. She is a skilled coach and mentor and a true professional.
